Ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel they are welcome and valuedWelcome each guest as they enter, and thank them as they leave, holding the door as often as possibleSeat guests at suitable tables for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of tablesAssist with table service, including:Filling empty beverages;Clearing dishes from tables; andFetching and delivering items from tablesPre-bus, clear tables, and wipe them downWipe down menusAnswer phone calls, take reservations, and run to-go ordersCheck to make sure restrooms are presentable, stock/clean as neededMake sure that Server Assistant stand is always stocked (crayons, kid menus, menus, etc.)Follow all Suburban Inns processesExhibit regular and recurrent attendance recordsOther duties as requested by managementPosition Requirements:Minimum Knowledge: Requires ability to interpret / extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions. Good communication skillsFormal Education and Job-Related Experience: NoneLicense, Registration, and/or Certification Required: NoneWork Schedule: Work regularly requires or varies between day, evening, night, holiday, and/or weekend assignments. Schedule varies according to business demands and needsRequired Travel: Position does not require travel to other Suburban Inns properties or client locations.
