Position Summary:

This role is an integral part of the Accelerate Business Enablement function and Change Management Team and will be responsible for leading the Day in the Life (DITL) activities, thereby contributing to the overall change management strategy. DITL is a critical change management process to prepare the people for a normal business operating day after the Accelerate ERP and standard process deployment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)

  • Responsible for planning, leading and executing all Day in the Life deliverables for all Accelerate deployment groups ensuring that the activities result in end user confidence in their ability to use new systems and processes
  • Provides specific guidance relative to Day in the Life approach, methodology, and techniques
  • Works with the business to identify participants for Day in the Life activities including developing test scripts and prepping participants on Day in the Life goals. This includes close partnership with the Data Management & Testing team to ensure alignment on data setup and testing environment dependencies.
  • Builds Day in the Life plan, including detailed participant schedule; leads execution of plan
  • Monitors key interdependencies (e.g., data setup) for Day in the Life and elevates risks/issues as needed
  • Prepares all DITL communications including DITL kickoff, DITL status updates, DITL test script summary
  • Coordinates all logistics (meeting times, sites, technology) for DITL and serves as a liaison to DITL participants
  • Partners with the Change Management & Communication team to ensure messaging alignment with the business
  • Communicates DITL plan progress and key updates to the business and other stakeholders relative to DITL; ensures business DITL concerns are heard and escalated appropriately
  • Proactively identifies DITL risks and offers suggestions to mitigate the risks
  • Participate in organizational change readiness evaluation (via surveys or focus groups, for example) after DITL participation. This should be conducted in coordination with the Deployment Lead and Change Management team and align to other collection methods already completed.
  • Support the Change Management team with contribution to other change activities such as stakeholder support, change impact analysis and mitigation, communication and training (as needed).
  • Review and provide input to the Change Management work plan and provide timely and regular status updates.

Education & Special Trainings:

  • Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience as part of a global system implementation specifically executing system testing or Day in the Life activities as part of project responsibilities
  • Experience in Change Management or training with demonstrated track record of leading or supporting organizational change and training initiatives preferred
  • 6+ years of overall work experience with demonstrated propensity to take on increasing responsibility and expanded scope
  • Experience and knowledge of change management or training principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to establish rapport, network and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational context and current business challenges
  • Versatility, able to adjust priorities quickly and manage multiple stakeholder needs
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
