People who thrive in a fast-paced environment and will stop at nothing to ensure a project is complete and meets regulations and expectations.What you will doYou will assist with the development and implementation of new and existing communication vehicles. You will write, edit, review and assist in the release of internal communication documents and programs that support the organization. You will create appealing visual communications. Edit and enhance internal communication materials, including intranet, newsletters, emails/memos, presentations, webcasts, podcasts and speeches. Review and edit essential internal communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness. Ensures a corporate voice and visual brand standards permeate communications to employees and stakeholders. Coordinates internal communication efforts with those provided by others who focus on external communications (i.e., Business unit marketing communications, corporate communications).Responsibilities may include:Research, develop, design and implement messaging across multiple internal communications channels. Content may include written announcements, photography, presentations, surveys, etc.Generate and update content for existing communication vehicles, to include newsletters, intranet sites, television monitors and others as appropriate.Ensure communication is consistent and reflects the mission, values, culture and strategic priorities of the organization.Ensure that messaging and design is consistent with the companys corporate brand guidelines.Work with Communications leader to quickly create, gain approval for and distribute critical or time sensitive information.Work with members of the Communications team on employee communications, design projects and events.Work with various functions to identify and develop appropriate employee communications.Implement new communications vehicles and establish process for ongoing content generation.Serve as an advisor to internal functions on communications best practicesIdentify and prioritize communications projects to ensure efficient use of resourcesRespond to routine inquiries for informationStay abreast of company developments and trendsMay oversee agencies or contractors for graphic design, video and photography.What you needBachelors in communications, business, marketing or related curriculum required2+ years communications or marketing experience requiredMust possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write on behalf of others, incorporating their style and tone.Excellent grammar, proofreading and editing skills.Must be a creative thinker with strong knowledge of layout and graphic design principles.Must be approachable, articulate, persuasive, build partnerships, work collaboratively and influence others.Demonstrates ability to condense, organize and convey complex information in a logical, visually pleasing and user friendly manner that is appealing to broad range of audiences.Can translate raw content, data and stories into compelling written and visual communicationsPreferred technology experience includes proficient use of PowerPoint design, MS Word. Knowledge of use and troubleshooting in Marketo, SharePoint and digital signage platforms are desirable.Ability to advise other functions on communications best practices. Is comfortable speaking up and providing constructive feedback to people up and down the organizational chart.Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment.Experience with executive social media content strategy and execution beneficial.Can be trusted to protect the confidentiality of sensitive information.Ability to present and speak comfortably in front of others
