Kalamazoo, MI Shift: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm Pay:
$16.00 per hour Job Summary We're looking for a motivated,
detailoriented Quality Inspector to join a fastpaced foundry in
Kalamazoo. You'll be the eyes on the production line, making sure
every cast metal part meets strict specifications and safety
standards. What You'll Be Doing Inspect incoming and inprocess
parts for defects, using precision tools (calipers, micrometers,
gauges). Document every measurement and test result in a clear,
traceable log. Flag any nonconforming items, stop production if
needed, and communicate issues to supervisors. Maintain a clean,
safe work area and follow all foundry safety policies. Support the
production team by verifying quantities, labeling, and handling
materials. What We're Looking For Qualifications High school
diploma or GED; technical training a plus. Ability to lift up to
50lb, stand for long periods, and work in a hot, noisy environment.
Basic handtool and powertool experience. Dependable attendance and
a strong work ethic. Cleanshaven (for respirator fit) and
safetyfocused. Skills Sharp attention to detail and precision. Good
teamwork and communication. Mechanical aptitude for
