The Mitten Brewing Company is looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and hard working candidates to join our support team. Our goal is to provide our guests with the best beer and pizza in Grand Rapids. Part-time available through September with permanent employment available to the right person. Please contact us about joining our staff if you meet the following requirements: Requirements: Dependable Trustworthy Ability to provide fantastic customer service Friendly, kind, and outgoing personality Communication/interpersonal skills to work with people of all backgrounds Ability to communicate clearly in-person and over the phone Consistently positive attitude Hospitality-focused mindset Hard working, not afraid to get your hands dirty Works well in a team environment Versatile and adaptable, able to fill different roles Able to learn and process information quickly Able to use stairs frequently and lift objects up to 30lbs and would like to perform the following job duties: Job Duties : Treat every guest with respect Treat every co-worker with respect Greet guests in a friendly manner when they enter the building Utilize the digital hosting system to seat guests while rotating sections and manage the wait list Learn food and drink menus Take phone calls to answer questions about the business and takeout orders Utilize Point of Sale tablets for takeout orders Communicate with kitchen staff regarding orders as necessary Garnish and run food to tables Stock the expo side of the line in the kitchen Clean or fulfill other assigned tasks during downtime Complete all of your side-work tasks every shift Expedite orders from the kitchen Occasionally close the dish station The Mitten Brewing Company offers competitive wages and benefits: Benefits: Health insurance packages for full-time employees Free mental healthcare This position includes tips and has a guaranteed minimum of at least $15/hr View all jobs at this company
