Now Hiring: Support Staff / Server The Mitten Brewing Company – Grand Rapids The Mitten Brewing Company is looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and hard-working individuals to join our support team. Our goal is to provide guests with the best beer and pizza experience in Grand Rapids. Part-time positions available through September, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. Ideally, these positions will be as close to a 50/50 split as possible. Requirements: Must be 21 years or older Preferred: 2 years of serving or bartending experience Dependable and trustworthy Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone Consistently positive, hospitality-focused mindset Hardworking and willing to take initiative Team player who is versatile and adaptable Able to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to use stairs frequently and lift up to 30 lbs Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays Job Duties: Provide respectful, attentive service to all guests and coworkers Greet guests and help create a welcoming atmosphere Learn and confidently speak about food and drink menus Manage guest seating and waitlists using digital systems Answer phones, take orders, and assist with guest inquiries Use POS systems to process orders accurately Communicate effectively with kitchen staff Garnish, run, and expedite food orders Assist with stocking and maintaining kitchen/expo areas Complete cleaning, side work, and assigned tasks during downtime Support dish station and other areas as needed If you’re passionate about hospitality and thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
