Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A fully
credentialed Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed to provide
comprehensive services to students in an elementary school setting
in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a contract position for the current
school year (CSY), with a commitment of 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent
(FTE). The ideal candidate will have experience in school-based OT
and a strong skill set that includes fine and gross motor skills,
and familiarity with healthcare, home health, and teletherapy OT
services is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational
therapy services to elementary school students to support their
developmental and educational needs. Assess, plan, and implement
individualized interventions focusing on improving fine and gross
motor skills within the school environment. Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and educational staff to create effective
strategies and accommodations. Maintain accurate documentation and
comply with all school and regulatory requirements. Utilize
teletherapy methods when applicable to enhance therapy
accessibility. Desired Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy
license and certification. Experience working within school
systems. Strong knowledge of fine motor, gross motor, and other
developmental OT skills. Background in healthcare, home health OT,
and teletherapy is beneficial. Excellent communication and
organizational skills. Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan Position:
