Job Description Grand Rapids, Michigan, Geriatric Medicine Job Clinical Role: ASAP -OngoingSeeking a full time (1.0 FTE) Geriatrics Physician to join our Geriatrics Team located in Grand Rapids, MichiganProvides care for patients in eight local nursing facilities and supports the Home Thrive Program, an Advanced Care Coordination ProgramAutonomy and flexibility in schedule; M-F, 8 am - 5 pmWeekend Requirements: Autonomy and flexibility in scheduleOn Call Requirements: Autonomy and flexibility in schedule; Call shared among ProvidersOpportunity to teach Residents, Medical Students, and FellowsPractice leadership and team that supports work/life balanceVisit length adequate to meet complex patient populationCall shared among ProvidersOpen to new graduates who have completed a Fellowship in GeriatricsOpen to experienced candidates in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineIf candidate is TRULY Board Eligible, must become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming eligibleNot accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification and need to obtain againNot open to commuters and/or those looking for secondary employmentNot accepting Locums candidatesNot accepting visa candidates Board Eligible (to become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming Board Eligible) or Board Certified in Geriatrics Medicine -OR- Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with Geriatrics Experience – Required Active MI License – RequiredDEA – RequiredACLS, BLS – Required Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
