Job Description Gynecologic Physician Opportunity - Grand Rapids, MI We are seeking a full-time, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecologic Physician (Generalist or Minimally Invasive Gynecologist) to provide gynecological services in the Grand Rapids area. The ideal candidate will have a dedication to patient-centered care and experience in a broad range of gynecologic procedures. Primary Clinical Responsibilities Outpatient gynecological office access Full spectrum surgery (robotic, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, infrequent laparotomy) in outpatient, inpatient, and office settings Unrestricted (back-up) GYN call coverage Collaboration with a skilled team of physicians and advanced practice providers Academic collaboration with 32 OBGYN residents Position Highlights Comprehensive management of gynecologic conditions through medical and surgical care Access to multiple outpatient surgical centers and in-office procedure capabilities Major surgeries can be performed in the outpatient surgery center with robust same-day discharge or at Butterworth Hospital Collaboration with subspecialty services, including reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery Teaching and mentoring of residents is expected Call Schedule 1:4 unrestricted backup hospital call from home, with occasional weekend GYN rounding when on call Qualifications Education : Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Certification : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG) Licensure : - Michigan Medical License (MD/DO) upon hire - DEA Registration - State of Michigan upon hire Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC within 120 days - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA (if required by specialty) Community Details: Grand Rapids, MI Grand Rapids is Michigans second-largest city and offers a vibrant downtown with a thriving arts scene, hundreds of local restaurants, and a diverse array of cultural and recreational activities.
