Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Fort Wayne, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,434 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Comprehensive Heart Treatment Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7pm - 7:30am Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of PCU or Med/Tele background required License: Indiana RN or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 1 year of Stepdown or Med/Tele experience required BLS through AHA required ACLS required Previous cardiac experience preferred Description: General job duties include drip titration for experienced candidates. If not experienced in drip titration, floating to Medsurg/Tele units will be required. The unit utilizes EPIC, PYXIS, Philips defibrillator, and Philips bedside monitors. Floating is required to like units when needed; PCU will float down to MedSurg when necessary. The unit has 12 beds with a nurse to patient ratio of 3-4:1 on progressive care and 4-5:1 on MedSurg. The dress code for the position is Caribbean blue scrubs. Travelers will need to attend a training program and EPIC training followed by 1-2 days on the unit for orientation.
