working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN
in Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46805! Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU
Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3pm - 3am
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN
experience, with at least 1 year in ICU License: Current RN license
in Indiana or compact Certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA
only) Must-Have: Candidates should be comfortable with vent
management, vasoactive drips, and psychiatric patients Description:
General job duties include providing patient care in the ICU.
Equipment utilized in this unit includes EPIC computer charting and
Pyxis medication administration. Additional equipment includes
ventilators and Bipap. A nurse to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 is
maintained in the unit. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2
years of Medical, Surgical, and/or ICU experience. Specific
requirements include having 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
All candidates are required to have current BLS and ACLS
certifications. Candidates should be willing to float to other
critical care units as needed. Dress code for the position is
Caribbean blue scrubs. Mandatory attendance is required for all
