Growing together.We seek a Float Pharmacist for northern Indiana to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.Tour a Genoa Pharmacy at the following link: Genoa Healthcare On-site Pharmacy Tour (youtube.com)Pharmacy locations: Merrillville, East Chicago, Hammond, Gary, Portage, Valparaiso, Michigan City, South Bend, Knox, Lafayette, Huntington, Logansport, Fort WayneHours: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, no nights, weekends, or holidaysPrimary Responsibilities:Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitionersProvides information to customers about medications and their useFocuses on providing a superior level of customer serviceEnsures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of PharmacyAdministration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of PharmacyAny other usual and customary pharmacy dutiesYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmDCurrent pharmacist license in the state of IndianaCertified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hireActive driver’s license and access to reliable transportationPreferred Qualifications:Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hireThe hourly range for this role is $43.17 to $84.95 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
