nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job
in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/20/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks - 35 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours,
evenings - Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse –
Emergency Room (Direct Hire) Responsibilities - Deliver
comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient
population. - Perform assessments, implement treatment plans, and
document patient status using EPIC. - Administer medications using
Pyxis medication system. - Respond promptly to critical and trauma
cases within resuscitation bays. - Collaborate with physicians,
techs, and fellow nurses in a team-based care approach.
RequirementsExperience - Minimum 2 years of Emergency
Department/ICU RN experience Licensure & Certifications - Active
Indiana RN license or Compact RN license - BLS – AHA - ACLS – AHA -
