Controls Project Designer in our office. As a Controls Project
Designer, you will be responsible for providing control systems
architecture/ engineering design services to existing and new
clients in the chemical, water and wastewater treatment industries,
general manufacturing, food and beverage, and
petrochemical.Principal Responsibilities
- Meet with existing clients on a regular basis to discuss
projects
- Be involved in training, and mentoring of staff
- Market control engineering services to existing clients
- Development and design of control systems
- Field troubleshooting of PLC and control devices
- Commissioning and start-up of systems
- Control Panel Design
- PLC/HMI Programming
- Development of Bill of Material (BOM) documentation
- Other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to perform all essential duties and
responsibilities listed above and have demonstrated leadership
traits
- Self-starter
- Ability to perform quality control checks
- Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written
communication to individuals or groups
- Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs; Control Systems
Architecture/Engineering Design
- Networking skills and server installations
- Commissioning and start-up experience with control systems
- Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC Programming / Factory Talk
Development
- Proficiency with Wonderware, Siemens PLC / DCS Programming and
HMI Development, AutoCAD Electrical
- This position not eligible for sponsorshipEducation and
Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Science)
- minimum of 5 years of qualifying experience
- or
- 10 years of experience or equivalent experiencePhysical
Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and
lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl,
reach with hands or armsand grasp or pull
- Will have exposure to outside weather conditions and loud
noises
- Ability to work in Industrial settingCompany rewards may
