Job Details Responsibilities - Lead clients and design teams through all project phases, from programming and concept development to final installation. Conduct space planning, develop materials specifications, and create compelling design concepts. Prepare detailed construction documents, finish plans, signage plans, elevations, and schedules. Oversee project budgets related to interior design and advise clients on realistic expectations. Inspect installations for compliance with design intent and contractual requirements. Maintain and update resource libraries and standards for furnishings, finishes, and materials. Support marketing efforts, client presentations, and contribute to the growth of the interior design practice. Manage, mentor, and support the interior design team. Facilitate staff development and conduct performance evaluations. Oversee project staffing, schedule coordination, and team meetings. Perform administrative tasks related to timekeeping, expenses, and PTO approvals. Participate in company-wide meetings and training initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited institution. NCIDQ certification required, or ability to obtain within one year of hire. Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial interior design. Proven ability to lead projects and teams. Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Revit required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards. Interested in hearing more?
